Shea is a US Navy Veteran who spent years as a Hospital Corpsman (Combat Medic) with the US Marine Corps (FMF). He became an IT Professional after finishing his Honorable Discharge from Active Duty Military Service in San Diego, CA and he relocated back to the East Coast.

Shea launched Trusted Touch Homes after being sick and tired of only finding interest based mortgages that almost triple in costs over decades. He wanted a home he could live in that was rent and mortgage free! 

Everyone said it was impossible in America...He said, "it is possible!"

Refusal to use, consume or administer Ribaa (Usury) is against the core foundations of Islamic theology, teachings and general practices (e.g. Sunnah). Surpringly, usage of interest is also against core Christian and Jewish beliefs as found in the Holy Bible and Talmud (Old Testament)! Shea's model became to renovate homes without ANY loans; "we use grants or cash..." like he saw done in both Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya and the UAE.

Shea believes that Baltimore City with a population that has a large minority and immigrant population will go through a reawakening like what he saw happen in his beloved Philadelphia, PA. Shea is an IT professional by trade, education and skill; but he was raised working outdoors: loves construction and farming, demolition and knows the value of hard work by hand to put food on the table.
